Sony announced today their long-awaited PlayStation 4 NEO console, now named the PlayStation 4 Pro. Sony also announced a price and release date for the PlayStation 4 Slim model as well. The PS4 Slim will be launching on September 15, at a price point of $299 US, with the PS4 Pro launching on November 10, at a price point of $399.
The PlayStation 4 Slim model will of course be replacing the current PlayStation 4 model, with the PlayStation 4 Pro being an upgraded model that will be sold alongside the slim model. All original PlayStation 4 models will get a firmware update to allow them to fully utilize HDR lighting as well.
