Activision official twitter account for the Call of Duty franchise announced that there will be a beta for the upcoming title starting on October 14th for the PlayStation 4, with the Xbox One following behind it. No multiplayer beta for the PC has been announced, and isn’t expected to happen.

Activision didn’t announce any details of what the beta will consist of at this moment, besides that you will be required to preorder the title to receive beta access. At time of press release, Activision hasn’t announced if they will also have a public beta period as well.
Infinity Ward, developers of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, also announced they would like to transform the title into the next Call of Duty series of games. Activision also released more information on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, saying that it would include all 16 of the original multiplayer maps. The game will come with 10 maps included, with the remaining 6 being released as free DLC after launch.
