Nintendo has released it’s Super Bowl LI Switch commercial a few days early and we have it here for you to view.
“There’s no bigger stage than the Super Bowl,” said Nicolas Chavez, vice president of marketing at Nintendo of America, in an interview with USA TODAY. “Just as Switch will change the way people play video games, in terms of changing how when and where we play, we thought it was only fitting we change how where and when we advertise those games.”
This will mark the first time Nintendo has produced an ad for the Super Bowl. The 30 second commercial will air in the fourth quarter, and will feature the upcoming Switch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. A longer version will be available online that will include more games; which is available at http://www.youtube.com/nintendo
Nintendo Switch video game system and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, both of which launch March 3. The ad also features a new song by Imagine Dragons called “Believer” that premiered worldwide Jan. 31.
