So far we know that Super Mario maker for the Nintendo 3DS will not allow players to share courses online, only through StreetPass. The title will also not have the full variety of tools available that the Wii U version does. It now appears, since the release of the official box art, that it will not take advantage of the handhelds 3D capability, either. The box art states, “Plays only in 2D.”
While this is disappointing to many, it will still no doubt be another quality title for the Nintendo 3DS, and will provide endless hours of fun for gamers. Super Mario Maker for the Nintendo 3DS comes out on December 2nd.
