The new One Piece fighting game, One Piece: Burning Blood came out yesterday in the States. That is to say, it came out on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PS Vita. If you’re like me, and were waiting for the Steam version, then I’ve got some bad news for you.
According to this statement from Bandai Namco on the game’s Steam discussions, the game is being pushed back to later in the Summer, missing its original projected June release, in order to ensure that the quality is matched with the console versions, as well as add in some key features exclusive to the PC version, such as key mapping and controller compatibility.
It’s not a gigantic delay, which is good, but I’d still really like a concrete date, not to mention a price. Hopefully, Bandai Namco will have that information for us very soon.
