Nintendo has confirmed, if by accident, the release window for their next dedicated gaming system, code-named “NX”. In a Financial statement, Nintendo released the following information.
For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed “NX” with a brand-new concept. NX will be launched in March 2017 globally.
So that is straight from the mouth of the dragon themselves, or Koopa if you will. The “Nintendo NX” will launch in March of 2017, completely skipping this years holiday season. And according to Takashi Mochizuki of the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo will not be announcing anything about the NX at this years E3 conference, which personally does not sound plausible as they have in the past said they would release more information at E3 2016.
1. No NX at E3. Will focus on new Zelda

It seems, but Nintendo has surprised in the past. Nintendo also let out that the next Legend of Zelda title would also release in 2017, perhaps it will be a launch title of the Nintendo NX, similar to Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was for the Wii?
