Hmm, Nintendo has gotten serious about expanding their business into the mobile market with the announcement of two of their more solid franchises as coming to iOS. Both Animal Crossing, and Fire Emblem are getting installments on the Apple’s iOS.
What do you think of this development? We know Nintendo is not abandoning traditional hardware with the Nintendo NX coming out in March 2017, but does this shift towards mobile gaming hint at a future where online connectivity, and the online space as being important to a traditionally not online Nintendo?
